Prevent Duty

At school, through PSHE Education sessions, assemblies and all aspects of school life, children learn to identify and nurture positive relationships whilst gaining an understanding of how to keep themselves safe.

School’s Prevent duty is focused upon ensuring that children are not exposed to or drawn towards extreme ideologies, language, viewpoints and actions (often referred to as radicalisation). We work closely with children and families to ensure children are well-informed and resilient to any and all attempts to engage them in supporting messages of hate.

Please use the link (click on the screenshot) below to be proactive in educating and supporting children’s awareness of respect and a refusal to engage with or tolerate for all messages expounding hate in any form.
