A BIG thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. We wouldn't have raised as much money for all our children without you.
Welcome to the PIPS information page.
Parents of Irby Primary; PIPS is a group of dedicated parents who, with the support of the school and the local community, organise fundraising events and initiatives in order to raise much needed funds to enhance our children’s learning journeys.
We hope that all parents will be able to support PIPS in some way over the time their child is at the school. This doesn't need to be as a committee member or anything formal but attending events, buying raffle tickets (and providing raffle prizes) all make a difference.
PIPS meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month, every month aside from August and December.

Meetings are between 7.45pm-10pm at The Anchor Pub in Irby Village.
These meetings are friendly, informal and open to all so please feel free to come along and find out more if you have a child at the school.

Thanks to all the other parents, carers and extended family members and friends who have volunteered their time again to support the events- we really do appreciate it.
If you would like to join the PIPS committee, or think you could support any of our events this year, please do let us know. You can email us on email@example.com, catch one of us in the play ground or pop in to one of the monthly meetings. All contributions, suggestions and support is always very welcome!
Where the money goes:
Over the last few years PIPS funds have been used for several events which the children enjoy. As well as some larger purchases; including the new shelving and furniture in the library. The children really love this space and it is very well used.
This year we have ambitious targets; we are fundraising for:
New smartboards throughout the school as well as a new class set of Ipads to ensure that our children benefit from the latest technology.
A sun shelter for the back field; this space is currently totally exposed and does not provide adequate protection for the children over the summer months- The cost is £2,300 for 3x3m shade.
A reading Gazebo for the playground - The cost is £1,000.
